Execution
- 1Throw the jab and retract
- 2Fire the cross with full rotation
- 3Follow immediately with a lead hook, pivoting the front foot
- 4Keep the rear hand up throughout the hook
- 5Reset guard and move after the combo
Key cues
- Each punch flows from the last one's rotation
- Pivot for the hook, don't just swing the arm
- Guard hand never drops
- Stay balanced through the full combo
- Breathe out on each strike
Common faults
- Losing balance on the hook after two straight punches
- Dropping the rear guard during the hook
- Arm-only hook
- Rushing the combo and losing power on each punch
- Standing flat-footed the whole combo

- Vary the third punch: hook, uppercut, or overhand
- Add head movement after the combo
- Increase speed once form is consistent
