PushKB
A kettlebell sport (girevoy sport) event combining a double clean with a double jerk (dip-drive-press) performed for repeated cycles — a high-output conditioning and pressing-power test using two kettlebells simultaneously.

Sets

Reps
10-20 (timed sets)
Rest
1:30
Contraindications
High technical demand and cardiovascular load — build the individual clean, jerk, and press patterns before attempting long cycle sets.Setup
Stand with two kettlebells racked (after a double clean), feet shoulder-width apart.
Execution
- 1From the rack, dip the knees slightly, then drive explosively upward
- 2Punch the kettlebells overhead as the legs extend, catching them at lockout
- 3Dip again to absorb the catch, then stand tall
- 4Lower back to the rack and repeat the clean-and-jerk cycle for the prescribed reps
Key cues
- Let the legs do the work in the dip-drive, not just the arms
- Punch overhead as the hips/knees extend, don't press first
- Absorb the catch with a soft dip
- Breathe rhythmically — long cycle is a conditioning event
Common faults
- Pressing with the arms instead of driving with the legs
- Poor timing between the leg drive and the overhead punch
- Insufficient dip to absorb the catch, jarring the shoulders
- Losing rack position between reps
Tweaks
- Practice the jerk dip-drive pattern with empty hands first
- Build up cycle duration gradually for conditioning
- Use lighter kettlebells initially to master timing
